Professional Chemistry
Dalton Snyder
Hear why professional chemistry major Dalton Snyder chose to attend University of Evansville for chemistry.
As the Department of Chemistry's most rigorous program, the professional chemistry major prepares students for graduate school or for employment in a chemistry field.
Students in this program have the opportunity to participate in undergraduate research, either at UE or as part of another university's graduate program. They also work closely with the University of Evansville's talented chemistry faculty, both in research and in the classroom, where advanced chemistry classes are kept small to maximize faculty/student interaction and students' hands-on activity in the lab.
As a result, graduates of the professional chemistry major are prepared for the next step in their careers, including automatic certification by the American Chemical Society's Committee on Professional Training.
