Basic Chemistry
Carder Labrake
Junior Carder Labrake talks about his decision to study Basic Chemistry at the University of Evansville.
The basic chemistry major at the University of Evansville provides students with the opportunity to study the "central science" of chemistry while also pursuing one of the many other disciplines that are enriched by it. For this reason, many basic chemistry students pursue a double major, earning a second degree in a related field like biology, environmental science, or archaeology.
Alumni from this program often use the skills they gain here as the building blocks in preparation for medical, dental, or professional schools.
