Why you chose UE?

I choose to attend UE because the people I have met here were very welcoming and made my transition from high school to college very easy. Everyone cares about their classmates and likes to offer their help. The students that I have met here have become family. I also chose UE because it allowed me to continue to be a musician without having to major or minor in music. Being able to continue music after high school was something important to me because I have been playing the violin since I was 8 years old. OR When I started as a freshman, I wasn’t sure that I wanted to study abroad. The program is very flexible and the people are supportive in helping you decide if you want to study abroad. The advisors also help you plan your schedule and courses if you decide to travel abroad. It was nice that I didn’t need to decide before I started as a freshman.

What is your favorite thing about UE?

My favorite thing about UE is how helpful and friendly everyone is here on campus. When I was at orientation, I realized I was the only student attending UE from my high school. I did not know anyone else here on campus, but the people I met during my first semester are there for me during rough times and I can count on them. While I cannot guarantee an experience like mine, I know the relationships you make here will last a lifetime.
